Manny the Manta?

Today I finally got my hands on my Opel Manta, now that the Rover P5 is off to new pastures, I will miss 'Reggie the Rover' he's a good old car, and will do his new owner proud! I always name my cars, some people think this is an odd thing for a 45 year old to admit, but their have been many, many cars all with odd names. 1st there was Erica the Honda Civic (named after famous female streaker, well it had big bumpers for a small car..and i guess I've said too much already!)Then Gertrude the Golf, Prissilla the Passat, Patrica the Polo, Lydia the Lancia, Suzy the Suzuki Jeep, Rennie the Renault, Cynthia the Citeron BX, Monty the MG Montego, Susie the Subaru, after that I stopped nameing my cars for a while, then it started again, with Big Bertha the 1972 BMW 3LTR Saloon, then Hark the Herald 1200 saloon, Maurice the 1990's Mustang V8 convertible(hairdressers car according to my friends)Agro the Allegro and now, Manny the Manta! I like Manny he's only done 39,000 miles from new and feels quite sporting to drive, I was at the NEC recently and stocked up on some bits for him, and have already got a quote sorted to spray up his boot lid and get the wheels re-furbed! Got a classic car run on Sunday 27th November, this will be Manny's first club outing, and the weather is looking good!

Reggie the Rover, off to a new home!

Agro the Allegro, still running last I heard!
