Heritage Charity Hillclimb - 30th June 2012
In order to keep the interest of participants, spectators and sponsors alike, in 2012 the Heritage Charity event will be a Hill Climb up the Val des Terres and will be held on Saturday 30th June 2012. This will be similar to the previous two charity sprints being open to members of the public in their own cars and will be an all-day event from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
Heritage will remain the main sponsor but the organisation of the event has been passed over to the Lions Club of Guernsey, together with members of the Guernsey Motorcycle & Car Club and Guernsey Kart & Motor Club, who kindly give up their time to assist in organising these events.
We hope to raise similar or even more money than the last two events and all funds raised will be split equally between Headway Guernsey and the Lions Club of Guernsey benefitting local charitable causes Although the event is not taking place for some time, we are now taking entries which will be limited, so would recommend that you apply now to avoid disappointment. The cost will be £75 to include a 3 course meal at La Grande Mare on the evening of Sunday 1st July. In addition all participants will have to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 with a substantial motorsport orientated prize for the individual who raises the most sponsorship.
